Crash in Hong Kong’s Cheung Tsing Tunnel causes water pipes to burst, forcing lane closures
Water gushed out from a wall in Hong Kong’s Cheung Tsing Tunnel on Saturday, leading to the temporary shutdown of two lanes after a medium goods vehicle crashed and ruptured a section of the structure’s inner pipes.
Police said two Kowloon-bound lanes of the tunnel were closed for about 2½ hours from 1.15pm following the traffic incident.
